Ashburn 1st Grader Taps on TV

Cedar Lane Elementary School first grader Luke Spring made TV news this morning with Fox 5′s Holly Morris showcasing his stellar tap dancing skills!

There are two videos, he is in the second one (under the main video player on the page) where Ms. Morris gets a tap lesson. Those who saw the appearance live said he did much more than this video shows and they were blown away by his talent!

The DC Tap Festival 2010 will bring together tap dancers of all ages and skill levels.

FOX 5’s Holly Morris met some of the talent at the Duke Ellington School Of The Arts and has a preview of the festivities.

The DC Tap Festival begins Friday and all are encouraged to come out to take lessons, try a few steps, see performances, and have fun.
